The Whole Health Institute in Bentonville, Arkansas, is a three-story healthcare innovation facility advancing whole-health models through collaboration, education, and experiential design. Ford AV delivered a healthcare facility AV integration for the entire new construction project. This included end-to-end design support, installation, and commissioning across all public spaces, meeting rooms, and large-scale event environments.
The fully unified AV system supports conference rooms, large-scale presentations, live events, and immersive digital art experiences. The center of the design is a divisible event space, supported by enterprise-grade projection, distributed audio, video conferencing systems, and centralized control technology.
Large-Scale Event Space AV Design, Video Walls, and Integrated Control Systems
A major focus of the project was the multi-purpose, 5,000-square-foot divisible event space. It functions as either a single large venue or as up to three independent rooms. This required an audiovisual system capable of supporting changing corporate events, banquets, training sessions, live presentations, and hybrid video conferencing.
Ford AV installed multiple large-format projection systems using Christie projectors paired with oversized projection screens, supported by a high-performance distributed audio system to ensure even coverage throughout the space, regardless of configuration.
The space is integrated by a Crestron control ecosystem with multiple touch panels capable of mirroring control across rooms. This allows operators to manage complex system configurations from a simplified interface. Panasonic camera systems support video conferencing, live streaming, and presentation capture. Yamaha audio systems and stage infrastructure provided additional flexibility for live event production. This environment delivers maximum adaptability while maintaining intuitive control for end users.
LED Video Wall Installation and Architectural Digital Art Integration
The 20-foot by 11-foot Absen LED video wall in the main lobby is the most visually impactful element. Comprising 100 precision-aligned LED panels, the display showcases artwork created for the Whole Health Institute.
The installation required close coordination to ensure the artwork displayed correctly at full scale and resolution. The process involved detailed visual alignment, calibration, and on-site approval to meet both technical and artistic requirements.

The final installation now serves as a signature architectural feature, blending technology and art to create a visually immersive entry experience for visitors.
Healthcare Facility Technology for Conference Rooms and Meeting Spaces
In addition, Ford AV extended the integration across approximately 20 additional conference rooms and meeting spaces throughout the building. These rooms use all-in-one touchscreen video conferencing systems to support Zoom Rooms deployments.
This campus-wide approach ensured a consistent experience across all meeting environments, allowing users to transition between small meeting rooms and large-scale event spaces while maintaining a unified communication platform. Each room was fully integrated into the broader AV ecosystem, centralizing support and allowing consistent performance across the entire facility.
Commissioning, Training, and Long-Term Healthcare AV System Performance
As the project moved into final commissioning, Ford AV engineering and programming teams worked to refine system performance across all spaces, particularly within the highly flexible event environment.
Late-stage system adjustments ensured control systems, routing, and user interfaces aligned with real-world operational needs. The programming team delivered a unified experience across multiple rooms and system modes, enabling simple transitions between divided and full-space configurations. Training sessions covered general meeting room operation and event space functionality, ensuring facility stakeholders were prepared to operate the system.
