The Netflix Albuquerque Expansion transformed a production studio lot into a fully modernized film and television production campus supporting global content creation. The development includes multiple soundstage buildings, production offices, and shared campus amenities. These support high-volume production workflows and distributed creative teams.
Ford AV designed and installed enterprise production studio AV systems across the production office and surrounding facilities. The project required scalable audiovisual systems capable of supporting both day-to-day corporate operations and high-demand film production environments, making it a hybrid deployment of corporate AV solutions and film production AV systems within a single campus.
Enterprise AV Integration & Conference Room AV Systems
Ford AV implemented standardized conference room AV systems across more than 100 huddle rooms, conference rooms, and training spaces distributed across three primary buildings. Each space was equipped with Google Meet video conferencing systems integration. The standardized integration simplifies communication between Albuquerque production teams and Netflix offices worldwide. Users can move between rooms without learning new systems, significantly improving usability and operational efficiency.
The deployment included integrated video conferencing systems, PTZ camera systems, ceiling microphone arrays, distributed audio systems, and large-format display technology. Larger collaboration spaces support high-capacity meetings and training sessions, while maintaining a consistent user experience across all room types.
Wireless BYOD Presentation System & Hybrid Meeting Room Technology
A key feature of the project was the implementation of an advanced wireless Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) presentation system within a multipurpose training environment designed to support both native conferencing and fully wireless collaboration workflows.
This space was engineered as a hybrid meeting room, allowing users to wirelessly connect personal devices while simultaneously accessing in-room AV peripherals, including PTZ cameras, ceiling microphones, distributed loudspeakers, and dual 98-inch display systems. The wireless collaboration technology eliminated physical connection barriers and maintained enterprise-grade reliability.
