Tulsa, OK

OSU Langston’s Tulsa Allied Health facility underwent a comprehensive audiovisual refresh to enhance teaching and collaboration across multiple instructional and support spaces. Ford AV designed and integrated education AV systems throughout the expanded facility to support faculty-led instruction, group learning, and program presentations.
While the facility supports healthcare education, the scope of work focused on foundational AV infrastructure across classrooms, lecture spaces, labs, and shared areas to ensure reliable performance, ease of use, and consistency across all environments. The result is a cohesive AV ecosystem that improves the day-to-day experience for students, instructors, and staff.
Classroom and Lecture Hall Audio Systems
The upgraded audio systems deliver clear, intelligible sound across instructional and gathering spaces. In-ceiling loudspeakers in classrooms and support areas provide even coverage, while line-array column loudspeakers enhance larger spaces such as the lecture hall and lobby.
Ceiling-mounted Shure microphones, combined with wireless Sennheiser microphone solutions, ensure faculty voices are captured clearly for in-room reinforcement and presentation support. QSC digital signal processing enables balanced audio distribution, reduces distractions, and improves comprehension during lectures, discussions, and group instruction.

Lecture Hall and Classroom Video & Presentation Systems for Higher Education
Visual systems throughout the facility support teaching, presentations, and demonstrations. Large-format projection systems paired with Da-Lite screens provide clear, high-contrast visuals in the lecture hall and shared spaces. Flat-panel displays and monitors support instruction and content sharing in classrooms, labs, and briefing rooms.
PTZ cameras were integrated in key spaces to support observation, presentation capture, and future flexibility for recording or remote viewing. These systems enhance visibility and engagement while giving the university room to expand instructional capabilities over time.

Faculty-Friendly Control for Education AV Systems
To ensure ease of use, Ford AV implemented centralized control systems with Crestron 10-inch wall-mounted touch panels. These interfaces allow users to manage audio levels, video sources, displays, and presentation modes with minimal training.
By simplifying system operation, the control design reduces technical barriers for instructors and staff, allowing them to focus on teaching rather than troubleshooting technology. This user-centric approach supports day-to-day reliability across all spaces.
Reliable, Scalable AV Systems Supporting University Learning
The completed AV systems provide OSU–Langston’s Tulsa Allied Health facility with dependable technology that supports instruction, presentations, and collaboration across a diverse set of spaces. By focusing on standardized design, clear audio, strong visual performance, and intuitive control, Ford AV delivered an AV foundation that enhances the learning environment today while remaining adaptable for future needs.

Comprehensive AV System Deployment for Langston University Tulsa Allied Health Facility
The AV system integration included a lecture hall, classroom, skills lab, simulation room, lobby, briefing rooms, and break areas. This multi-space approach required thoughtful coordination to ensure systems were intuitive, scalable, and aligned with the functional needs of each room type.
Ford AV delivered standardized audiovisual solutions that allow instructors to move between spaces with confidence, knowing systems would operate consistently. By unifying control interfaces, audio performance, and video capabilities, the AV environment supports structured instruction and collaboration throughout the facility.
“Our priority was completing the project and ensuring the customer could confidently operate their new AV systems.”
