This comprehensive Peterbilt AV system upgrade included a custom vertical video wall in the lobby for marketing and corporate messaging, as well as a Planar LED video wall in the auditorium to support presentations, hybrid meetings, and immersive visual experiences.

Admin Lobby Video Wall: High-Impact Brand Messaging
Ford AV designed and installed a custom vertical LED video wall to showcase marketing content, corporate messaging, and employee engagement. The display system features Absen LED panels configured in a portrait orientation to maximize the vertical height of the wall. To achieve this under an aggressive timeline, Ford AV utilized in-stock Absen cabinets and rotated the panels 90 degrees, creating a nearly identical footprint to the originally planned custom units. The wall is controlled by a NovaStar processor and a BrightSign media player, enabling highly responsive content management and smooth playback of video, graphics, and corporate messaging.
Throughout the project, coordination and collaboration with Peterbilt’s internal teams were critical to success. Construction crews prepared the wall space and even manufactured custom spacers to ensure the proper mounting depth. The result is a bright LED wall that engages employees and visitors from the moment they enter the building.

Peterbilt Motors Auditorium: Advanced LED Wall and AV Upgrade
In Peterbilt Motors’ auditorium, Ford AV designed the space for leadership presentations, employee training, and customer-facing events. This project modernized the auditorium with immersive audio, stunning visual performance, hybrid collaboration, and content sharing.
At the heart of the upgrade is a direct-view LED wall from Planar. The 48:9 display provides incredible flexibility, allowing users to showcase a single widescreen image or divide the surface into three independent 16:9 screens for multiple simultaneous presentations. A custom mounting system supports the large LED wall. PTZ video cameras enable high-quality recording and live streaming of events. The installation was completed in under two days; a feat made possible by months of pre-planning and coordination with the general contractor and electricians to ensure the infrastructure was perfectly aligned with Ford AV’s specifications.
The audio system features 5-inch two-way in-wall speakers paired with an 18-inch subwoofer, delivering balanced sound coverage across the auditorium. Combined with ceiling and table microphones, Meyer Audio amplification, and Q-SYS DSP audio routing, the sound system provides clear audio for every in-person and remote participant.
To manage all these components, 10-inch wired touch panels were installed in the auditorium and control room. These panels allow operators to control lighting, audio, video, and recording functions with ease. Microsoft Teams integration enables hybrid collaboration and allows remote participants to engage fully in presentations and meetings.
