NTT Data, a global leader in IT and business services, completed a modernization of its 12th floor Experience Center in Plano, Texas. This dynamic space serves as a hub for client collaboration, innovation showcases, and demonstrations.
The floor is divided into two primary areas: the Executive Briefing Center, which includes several high-end conference rooms, and the Innovation Center, a collaborative space designed for hands-on exploration and problem-solving. Ford AV was brought on to refresh the audiovisual systems across both zones, with a focus on enhancing hybrid experiences and delivering a high-impact environment for clients and visitors.
The project included updates to four executive conference rooms and a transformation of the Innovation Center’s Immersion Room, the North and South Collaboration Areas, and the Entrance Lobby.
Video Conferencing Across Spaces
One of the most impactful upgrades Ford delivered was a video conferencing system allowing remote participants to remain fully engaged throughout the client journey. Traditionally, moving from one meeting space to another would require ending a call and reconnecting in a different room which causes interruptions and leaves remote attendees feeling disconnected.
In the NTT Data Experience Center, Ford designed a solution that enables meetings to begin in the Executive Briefing Center and continue uninterrupted into the Innovation Center. As groups move through the space, the system’s cameras automatically hand off coverage from the conference room, to the lobby, to the curved video wall, and into the interactive collaboration zones.
Instead of dropping off one call and joining another, they experience the transition in real time, following along as if they were physically present. This continuity ensures clients never miss a moment of the discussion or collaborative process.
You can start a meeting in one of the conference rooms and then transition to the innovation side without ending the call. Typically, you would have to leave a call and rejoin another call. Now, the people attending remotely stay on the call and then transition with the group through the Innovation Center.

Executive & Innovation Center AV Upgrades
Executive Briefing Center
In the Executive Briefing Center, Ford focused on updating the existing AV infrastructure. While the visual design of the conference rooms remained largely the same, Ford installed new rack systems and upgraded core audiovisual components to improve system performance, reliability, and usability. These enhancements ensured executive meetings could operate with greater efficiency and clarity, whether conducted in-person or virtually.
Innovation Center
The Immersion Studio is the centerpiece of the Innovation Center. This four-walled room features a 16′ x 9′ Planar Direct View LED video wall at the front and Epson short-throw projectors paired with Draper Custom Screens on the side and rear walls. The setup enables a fully immersive experience, allowing users to simulate real-world environments in vivid detail.
Adjacent to the Immersion Room is the North Collaboration Area, which houses a 105-inch interactive Planar display. This space is furnished with soft, mobile seating, and mechanical demo setups that help users visualize and interact with real-world business solutions.
The South Collaboration Area is a more robust, flexible space equipped with a 16’ x 7’ interactive Planar DVLED wall. Enhanced with Q-SYS SEER Vision for automated presenter tracking, this area supports speaker recognition and dynamic camera switching, creating a highly engaging experience for remote participants.
The Entrance Lobby serves as a visual gateway into the Innovation Center. A large 8′ x 8′ curved Planar video wall greets visitors, accompanied by custom-programmed LED lighting strips that synchronize with the wall’s visual content. This entrance helps set the tone for what lies ahead.
