The goal of Guild Hall’s full-scale theater AV system renovation was to preserve the venue’s intimate, historic charm while equipping it with high-quality technology for the artists and audiences it serves. Designing Flexible Theater AV Systems
Before the renovation, Guild Hall’s systems reflected its age with incandescent lighting, limited projection capabilities due to outdated equipment, and a sound system that struggled to fill the space evenly. The infrastructure simply could not meet modern expectations of a venue hosting everything from staged readings to multimedia performances.

Advanced Audio, Video, and Acoustics Integration
The team engineered a comprehensive audio, video, and networking solution that transformed the theater into one of the most advanced mid-sized venues in the region.
One of the most impressive upgrades was the installation of an Electronic Acoustic Enhancement System (EAES), a powerful piece of technology that uses a network of microphones and speakers to reshape the room’s acoustics electronically.

To match Guild Hall’s role as a premier venue for film screenings, Ford AV integrated a Christie Cinema projector, the same caliber used in commercial theaters. This system delivers cinematic-level brightness, color depth, and security, essential for high-profile movie debuts and private screenings.
Complementing the visual and acoustic improvements, Ford AV installed a new PA system, digital audio console, streaming capabilities, and networked infrastructure connecting all of the systems.
