The 54,000-square-foot medical teaching facility features five classrooms, a multipurpose room, a lab, two conference rooms, two faculty suites, faculty and student lounges as well as a small reference library, and state-of-the-art technology.
- The skills lab has a wireless microphone system that is reinforced at the bed stations and a camera used to show live feeds of student performances with lifelike patient simulators as well as in-lab instructions from professors.
- Touch panels within the lab are used to choose camera feeds to display on all of the LCD displays, which allow instructors to show an entire class how to perform a task.
- Classrooms include multimedia carts that contain interactive panels, a document camera, DVD player, and computer.
