A substantial portion of our work is in association with leading AV industry design professionals. Our goal is to work in partnership with Architects and AV Consultants throughout the process to deliver the best designed and installed systems. AV design professionals working with Ford AV during the life of a project results in high quality systems installed to exacting specifications.

When working on Design/Bid projects with a Consultant, Ford AV acts as a contractor or system integrator only. The design is the responsibility of the Consultant. The Consultant meets with the project owner to determine the technical requirements and prepares design specifications and drawings. Upon award of the installation contract, Ford AV's project management and engineering team will follow the drawings and specifications to install the system. Throughout the process Ford AV will coordinate with the Architect and Consultant to ensure that the system is installed as specified. Systems testing and commissioning will be reviewed with the Consultant.

Ford AV works with customers, Architects, and Consultants under a variety of contractual agreements where the responsibilities of Ford AV vary depending upon the installation time frame and the type of design provided by the Consultant.
