Sound Mixing Houston- Level 1   Details and Registration    Seminar #: 1104

One Day: Saturday, June 29, 2013

This seminar is specifically designed for church sound operators and presents basic information on how sound mixing consoles operate, set up procedures, and mixing techniques. Topics will include equalization of vocals, choir, and instruments; control of reverb and special effects, proper use of sub groups and auxiliary sends, and the set up of multi-channel mixing consoles. The morning session will provide training on how mixing consoles are designed and how each section of the console functions. Topics will include gain structure and settings, equalization, patching, subgrouping, soloing, muting, and auxiliary sends. The afternoon session will be hands on operation under the guidance of an instructor. The class will be divided into groups, each with an instructor, mixing console, and support equipment.
